I have what I think is a 1947 ish 17’ Deluxe runabout. I have no hull tab or title…the piece of wood on the the engine hatch area is partially missing ao i only see r-17……and the hull number is gone, is it stamped anywhere else?

It should be stamped on an engine strìnger
It should also be stamped on the top support bow, the curved frame member that supports the top of the aft seat back.
