Has anyone applied clear varnish over enamel paint? I used George Kirby gloss but I want it glossier than how it turned out. I want the gloss to match the other varnish on the deck.
Try some of the varnish spray? I am sure there are 1000 reasons to not do that, but what the hell. OR try an enamal clear coat. Or better yet, put a refresh coat of the paint on it.
How about using a buffer and very fine compouds? This is what many do to their varnish surfaces to get ultra high gloss. I can’t think of any reason why it wouldn’t work on paint.
